Church of Adventists demand to refute story by TV channel «2+2»

05.08.2015, 14:12

The administration of the Seventh-Day Adventists' Church claims that the TV channel «2+2» in its story about the Church in the program «Secret materials» violated journalist standards and demands to refute the claims made in the story. In particular, the part of the story that Adventists were unhappy about how the story presented tithe (tenth part of income granted by believers to the church), and the provocative manner the journalist used to get the information. The Adventists also believe that the story itself, as a whole, presents their church in a negative light, with accusations by an anonymous man. The "2+2" channel administration made no comments on the situation yet.
