Chornomorska TV and radio company lost its offices
Chornomorska TV and Radio company now has to vacate its office building in Simferopol, Crimea, which it occupied for almost 20 years - due to the owner’s decision to lease out the building at Radio Street, 4. The TV company could not function normally since spring of 2014 - at first, in spring, the invaders disconnected its power supply, then its servers were under a DDoS-attacks, and on August 1, the Russian Federal Service of Court Marshals arrested its property based on a judgement of the Economic Court of the Republic of Crimea. In the end of December, the arrested equipment was returned to the company based on the Court of Appeal’s decision, but at the same time, the channel’s Ukrainian license was declared null and void for non-payment of license taxes.
