Chernivtsi police attacked journalist at protest action

15.01.2013, 12:06
During clashes between police and members of "Svoboda" political party, who protested against the arrival of the Russian Foreign Minister to Chernivtsi on January 13, 2013, police attacked deputy editor of Bukovyna newspaper Mykhaylo Tokaryuk, ZIK reports.

A correspondent of "Young Bukovinian" recorded a video of a man in uniform pushing the journalist at the protest action.

Perhaps, the police officer confused the journalist with activists who staged a picket. However, he did not respond to shouts: "He is a journalist, leave him alone!".
