Cherkasy official served with notice of charges of aggression against journalist
Stanislav Kolomiyets, head of the Cherkasy City Council's inspection department, was served with notice of charges of beating journalist Valery Vorotnyk. This was reported in the press service of the regional prosecutor's office, as UA:PBC reported.
“On February 26, a notice of charges was filed for the fact of intentional infliction of light bodily injuries to a journalist due to exercise of legal professional activity by that journalist, offense committed by a group of persons (Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 345-1 of the Criminal Code Ukraine) ", - as they reported in prosecutor's office.
As to the investigation, on February 2, 2021, the suspect together with another person tpremeditated the attack and,aggressed the journalist (director of the TV company) in the office of Antenna TV, trying to prevent him from spreading more some information posted on the Facebook page.
