Cherkaska Oblast State TV and Radio Company disconnected from power grid for failure to pay for it

Cherkaska Oblast State TV and radio company “Ros” was disconnected from the power grid for a certain amount of time on May 31, UNN reports. The main reason for this is its accrued debts for consumed electricity. The electricity supplier reported that the contract terms do not allow them to make the amount of the debt public.
The "Ros" director Mykhailo Kalinichenko, however, claims that the reason of disconnection from the power grid was "a misunderstanding". He added that the TV company has money to pay for the electricity it consumed. The misunderstanding, as the director explained, is due to the process of the company transition from being state-owned to a communal media outlet.
