Channel 5 suspends broadcasting – again – due to bomb threat
On July 17, in the morning Channel 5 suspended its broadcasting due to a message that its building was rigged with a bomb. This was reported by Interfax-Ukraine. This is already the third time this month.
The TV channel employees inform in social networks that the staff has been evacuated from the building.
On July 15, a message was received that the channel’s office was rigged with a bomb, so its broadcasting was suspended. The police EOD specialists and K-9 units found no explosives. The same happened on July 4 – a phone call about a bomb in the channel’s office, evacuation, search and no explosives in the building.
Later, after the OED specialists sweeped the building and found no explosives the channel resumed its regular operation and broadcasting.
