Channel 5 got bomb warning for eighth time

On September 13, Channel 5 received a message that its office in Kyiv was rigged with explosives for the 8^th  time, as reported by the TV channel’s website.

According to its editorial office, around 11 a.m. they received a phone call from an unidentified man who told them there was a bomb in the channel’s office.

The police, IED sepcialists, K-9 units, and rescue teams. All channel’s staff was evacuated and its broadcasting was suspended. The sweep took a little over an hour. No explosives were found in the premises of Channel 5. Later, the TV channel  resumed its broadcasting.

The previous message about a bomb on the channel’s premises was on September 12, and in July there were six such calls.
