Butusov says his bulletproof vest saved him from a fragment

Ukrainian fighters discovered a fragment in the bulletproof vest used by Censor.NET editor-in-chief Yuriy Butusov on the front line, Censor.NET reports.

According to Butusov, the fragment most likely hit him in Severodonetsk (Luhansk oblast).

"My beloved bulletproof vest... it saved me. See, this fragment could have been in my back, but it did not go through. [...] These were flying all around back there (in Severodonetsk. – Ed.), that's why I didn't notice it," Butusov says in the video where Ukrainian fighters remove the shrapnel from his bulletproof vest.
