British journalist asked "LPR" militants to shoot at Ukrainians

31.07.2015, 08:58

The journalist of the British TV channel "Sky News" Kitty Logan asked the militants of the self-proclaimed "Luhansk People's Republic" to shoot at the positions of the Ukrainian army on-camera. This information comes from eyewitnesses in the group "Occupied Luhansk" in a social network. The journalist requested this to add some spice to her story (as she realized that her usual materials become stale for the Western audience). She persuaded the militants to open fire on the Ukrainian positions, and they agreed. Later, Ukrainians returned fire.

This reminds of the Russian journalist Mikhail Akinchenko, who, preparing the story about wildfire in Russia in spring, set on fire some grass "for the nice picture" during live broadcast, and caused serious fire in the area.
