"Berkut" fighters assaulted Ukrainsky Tyzhden journalist

On November 24, in Kyiv during the confrontation near the building of the Cabinet of Ministers an officer of the police special tactical unit «Berkut» assaulted the Ukrainsky Tyzhden correspondent Stanislav Kozliuk, informs Tyzhden.ua.

According to Kozliuk, when he was filming the confrontation near the Cabinet of Ministers, one of «Berkut» started pushing him with his baton and shouting «Back Off!». Kozliuk, in his turn, informed him that he was a journalist and was following the editorial office’s instructions. He was not able to show his ID. He made several steps towards the confrontation, and they started to kick him in the knees. He ended up with scratches and bruises.
