Berdychiv: Unknown beat editor of local online outlet

On the morning March 23, in Berdychvv, Zhytomyr oblast, unknown beat editor of online outlet "Berdychiv dilovyy" Valerii Shelep. "Berdychiv dilovyy" reports.

"Today, on March 23, early in the morning unknown brutally beat up the editor of  online outlet "Berdychiv dilovyy" Valerii Shelep, the outlet is in the opposition to the local government of Berdychiv. As we know, Shelep as usually left his house and headed to the car, to drive his child to school, when he was attacked by bandits. The journalist received serious injuries, we called ambulance in order to provide him with medical care,"- the victim's colleague Denis Zaremskyy wrote.

Shelep connects this attack with his professional journalistic activities, and calls it an act of bullying, because bandits obviously knew who he was, where he lives and what his morning schedule.
Now, Shelepa is staying in the traumatology department of Central hospital.
