Belarus faces blackout again
In Belarus, where the national strike is on, the Internet is being turned off en masse. It is working only through Psiphon, as Hromadske Radio reported citing NextaTelegram channel.
The Belarusian service of Radio Svoboda reported on its Telegram channel that mobile internet was still available in Minsk.
Also "Nasha Niva" in Telegram informed about Internet problems revealed across all Belarus. Telegram works through proxies, social networks and site are off-line.
During the first days of mass protests, Belarus had a blackout. Moreover, the users from other countries could not open the websites of Belarusian mass media. Officials have explained it, saying it was cyberattack.
On August 17th, Belarussians went on nationwide strike protesting against the current government.
