Before elections, dozens of deceitful sociological services emerge – research
In the last 10–15 years, a whole market of shady sociological services was formed. The online media outlet TEXTY.org.ua informs about it. The media outlet gathered and collected into the single database practically all publicly announced surveys of the population at the five last parliamentary elections: 2002, 2006, 2007, 2012, and 2014.
"We have a file for dozens of openly fraudulent, or dubious sociological services, for each service that published dubious poll results at least once. We identified at least 14 virtual services – the ones who never conducted any presentations, and published their releases through news agencies only. Such companies exist only on paper and in political technologists' imagination", TEXTY representatives commented.
In particular, the diagram they composed show that the fraudulent companies become active in the last month before the elections, as many voters decide for whom to vote in the last months before the elections.
