Avakov says that clients and performers of Veremiy’s murder have been identified and put on international wanted list
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has identified the clients and performers of the murder of Vyacheslav Veremiy, journalist of “Vesti” newspaper. Arsen Avakov, the Minister of Internal Affairs, said so at the council of the President of Ukraine and heads of defense and law enforcement agencies.
In particular, Avakov reported about the progress in investigation of murders of Vyacheslav Veremiy, the reporter of “Vesti” newspaper, activists of Serhiy Nigoyan and Mykhailo Zhyznevskiy, about mass murders at Instytutska street.
Vyacheslav Veremiy was cruelly beaten and murdered in the center of Kyiv, at crossing of Volodymyrska and Velyka Zhytomyrska streets, at night after February 18. The main suspect in the case, 40-year old man, was the head of a group of sportsmen working as “security guards”. He was detained on March 21, yet the court released him against guarantee of appearance with criminal responsibility for non-appearance.
