ATR and Lâle may stop broadcasting to Crimea due to debts for satellite

The Crimean Tatar channel ATR and the Crimean Tatar channel for children Lâle can cease broadcasting from Kyiv to the occupied Crimea due to their debts for satellite broadcast services. The ATR vice director Aider Mudzhabayev blogged about this in a social network, the Center for Journalist Investigations reports.
The channels’ property in Crimea was seized by the Russian occupation government, and they cannot afford satellite broadcast services – and the Ukrainian government is not willing to support them, Mudzhabayev complains.
