At entrance to Crimea, unidentified men in Berkut uniforms brutally searched and threatened Insider's news photographer

15.03.2014, 23:44

On the checkpoint at the vehicular entrance to Crimea near Armiansk, unidentified men in Berkut uniforms brutally searched the Insider's freelance news photographer Serhiy Humeniuk, threatened him with physical violence and twice tried to take away his cameras. Then they threw the things around in the car, tore his ID, shoved him in the car and let go.  The journalist insists that he had on him both the journalist ID and the editorial assignment, but this did not stop the unidentified men in Berkut uniforms from brutal actions.
