As of October 29, 4 journalists are still prisoners in Eastern Ukraine

01.11.2014, 17:30

As of October 29, four journalists are still prisoners in the East of Ukraine. For example, the editor-in-chief of Luhansk Internet portal “Polityka 2.0” Serhiy Sakadynskyi has been a “LPR”’s prisoner for almost three months. Along with Sakadynskyi, we still know nothing about what happened with the journalists who were captured by the separatist fighters: Kharkiv journalist Roman Cheremskyi, Stakhaniv journalists Yevhen Timofeyev and Yevhen Shliakhtin.

All four of them were captured by “LPR”.

As IMI informed before, during September and October, four journalists were released from captivity – Espresso TV’s  Yehor Vorobiov and Taras Tchkan, ‘Road Control’s Rostyslav Shaposhnikov,  and ZIK’s Yuriy Lelyavsky.
