Armed Russians visit Mariupol schools to teach the children to kill and hate Ukraine – City Council
In the temporarily occupied Mariupol, armed Russian soldiers visit children in schools to give them so-called "courage classes" and teach them to hate Ukraine.
The Mariupol City Council reported this, sharing a Russian propaganda story from one of the city's schools.
"Russian occupiers are teaching Mariupol children to kill. The occupiers come to schools and bring weapons with them. This is how the so-called 'courage classes' take place. Namely, they are telling the children about drones that are killing Ukrainians. Furthermore, they make some children wear Russian military equipment and St. George's ribbons," the message reads.
According to Vadym Boychenko, the Ukrainian Mayor of Mariupol, there are about 10,000 children in the occupied city, and the Russians are "sunjecting them to real psychological abust, teaching them to hate."
"It is only when Ukraine retakes the city that the children will be safe again," Boychenko stressed.
