Anti-Monopoly Committee of Ukraine refused to make public information on Rivne oblast prosecutor's income. Journalists complained to ombudsman

The vice chief editor of the Information Agency «Rivne agency of journalist investigations» Antonina Torbich addressed the Parliamentary human rights commissioner Valeria Lutkovska «due to violation of the right of access to public information».

The reason of this address is that the Anti-Monopoly Committee of Ukraine refused to provide a copy of the income declaration of the prosecutor in Rivnenska oblast, Serhiy Kubrak, who himself was, at the period of the requested declaration, the vice-head of Kyiv Oblast territorial branch of the Anti-Monopoly committee of Ukraine. The rejection is based on the fact that at the time of the request Kubrak was not an official of the Committee.
