Anchorman of “1+1” and blogger Oleksander Dubynsky to run for Parliament

The anchorman of the "1+1" TV channel and blogger Oleksander Dubinsky claimed he was going to run for the snap parliamentary election in the 94th single-member electoral district (Kyiv region). Dubinsky posted it on his Facebook page, as Interfax-Ukraine reported. He added his contender would be Ihor Kononenko, MP from the "Petro Poroshenko’s Block" faction, who will stand as candidadte too in this constituency. The single-mandate constituency #94 includes the Vasylkiv, Obukhiv towns and Vasylkiv, Obukhivsky districts of the Kyiv region. As reported by IMI, on April 19th, Oleksander Dubinsky filed lawsuit to the District Administrative Court of Kyiv, requiring to ban to high officials and politicians to leave Ukraine for one year after the parliamentary and presidential elections.
