Alasania does not exclude he would sue public TV and radio company

01.02.2019, 11:39
The head of the Board at the National public TV and radio broadcasting company Zurab Alasania told he was unaware of the reasons why the Supervisory council had broken the contract with him. He does not exclude he would sue this decision, as he told it at Facebook. As to him, the Supervisory council refused to hear the annual report of the board and the decision to break the contract was adopted with several procedural breaches. “I am unaware of the reasons, no official grounds (they promised to provide with it in a week). Not that it was unexpectedly, they were trying doing it a long time ago, but this time the ballot papers had been prepared in advance? One could suppose it is due to election time… somehow unwise. What is next? All the procedures are breached, the judicial proceedings are conceivable and even obligatory after they make public their reasons”, Alasania told. Alasania added no issue of breach of the contract had been mentioned in the agenda of the Supervisory council.
