"Aidar" fighters attacked journalists on highway near Mykolaiv

On September 18 near the village of Krynychky, Mykolaivska oblast, on the highway Mykolaiv - Domanivka,  fighters of “Aidar” battalion attacked the online media outlet “Prestupnosti.NET”’s journalist Vadym Bohdanov and cameraman Valeriy Fedchenko, when they came to conduct photo and video recording of the traffic accident that the military were a part to. IMI’s regional correspondent informs about it.

"Aidar" members aggressively chased the journalists, did not allow them to conduct recording, were rude to them, tried to pry off their camera, and one of the fighters had a gun ready. Police officer who was present refused to help the journalists. In the end, the journalists had to flee from the site as the military attacked them physically after they suspected that one of the journalists used his cell phone for recording, and broke his cell phone. Later it became known that the military were also obstructing the work of another journalist crew, from the online media outlet "Novosti-N".

According to mass media of Mykolaiv, four fighters of "Aidar" battalion stationed nearby got into hospital as a result of a traffic accident near Krynychky village.
