Activists announced conditions for lifting their blockade of NewsOne

The activists who on December 3 blocked one of the entrances to the office of the TV channel NewsOne in Kyiv, promised to lift the blockade after satisfying a number of their demands DT.ua reported.
The participants of the blocking announced that the owner of the TV channel, the non-affiliated MP Yevhen Murayev must “repent for his separatist statements”. Also they demand to fire “the most pro-Soviet” anchors and to change the editorial policy of the channel from “pro-Soviet and pro-Kremlin” to “Ukrainian patriotic”.
“Until this happens, our peaceful action will continue”, activist Oleksiy Serediuk said, adding that the channel is being blocked by ATO veterans and the representatives of various NGOs.
The activists made a fireplace and spent the night near the office building.
Police officers called by the channel administration, announced that there was no offences in the location of the protest action near the NewsOne office building, and did not register this event in the Unified Register of Pre-Trial investigations. This was reported to Interfax-Ukraina by the director of Communications Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Artem Shevchenko.
