In Kyiv, on August 24, a journalist for “Nash / Maksi TV” channel was impeded to perform live stand-up during the March of Ukraine Defenders, as
Detektor Media reported.
The incident happened in Shevchenko Park, where the March started. The journalist Bogdan Karabynyosh was covering the festivities of the Independence day.
One could see on the video, unknown persons called the channel pro-Russian, shouted the name of the owner of the channel Murayev and Russian President Putin. Afterwards, unknown people called on the journalist to leave the scene and not impede the movement of veterans.
The March of Defenders was organized by military veterans.
IMI reported, on November 7, 2018, a new TV channel “Nash” started broadcasting (as part of Maxxi TV), the TV channel is owned by the father of MP Yevhen Murayev, the head of the Nashi party, Volodymyr Muraev.
