Head of national police reported to Zelensky classified data on murder of Pavel Sheremet

On July 23, the head of the National police Serhiy Knyazev reported to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky classified information on the progress of investigation of murder of the journalist Pavel Sheremet, as "Ukrayinska Pravda" reported. As Knyazev told, the investigation into the murder of Sheremet has some promising axes, but this any further information is classified. "Mr. President, at present, the National Police has a number of promising directions as to solving of the murder of Pavel Sheremet. Given that this information with restricted access and is in active phase of investigation, I am willing to report it to you in person. At the point, today, I got the permission of the investigator, " he said. His public report on this crime, as “Ukrayinska Pravda” noted, mostly had previously published data, nothing new.
