Non-public round table “Challenges for press freedom and journalists in a war” to be hosted in Kyiv on February 15

On 15 of February, in Kyiv the Human rights information center and the Ukrainian bureau of Freedom House hold a non-public round table “Challenges for press freedom and the journalists in a war”. The event is scheduled from 3 to 6 p.m. in the office of the Ukrainian center for independent political research at the address: 10A, Antonovych street, office 3. The issues to be discussed are: definition of various challenges and risks the journalists are facing in a war, the challenges for the press freedom, the issues of censorship, legal regulation, safety of the journalist covering the war and armed conflicts and so on. The materials of this discussion are to be part of a multidimensional research of the respective areas which will be presented to media community, in particular at Lviv and Donbas media forums.
