12 organizations in the Zaporizhzhia TOT target the youth with militaristic propaganda, police says
Russia has created 12 various youth organizations working in propaganda and militarization in the occupied part of Zaporizhia oblast.
This was announced at a briefing by Artem Kysko, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast National Police, reports Ukrinform.
According to him, these 12 youth movements are based in Melitopol, Berdyansk and other cities.
"They are 'rewiring' our children. Putin has a designated person who visits the occupied territories weekly and oversees the development of the movements. They are making their youth organizations more militaristic, preparing the children to kill. They are training murderers and attackers," Kysko said.
The police are trying to identify all those involved in organizing such movements and notify them of suspicion (in absentia).
As reported earlier, Russia plans to hold a propagandistic youth forum "Yug Molodoy" in occupied Berdyansk.
By the occupiers' estimates, the forum in Berdyansk should attract 800 attendees. It is expected to be attended by Russian propagandists from among actors, bloggers, and the Kremlin's other agents.
In July 2024, the Security Service of Ukraine notified Yevgeny Balytsky, the governor of the occupied part of Zaporizhia oblast, of suspicion under two more articles. The suspicion notice says that he was also involved in the organization of the forum "Yug Molodoy".
