"1+1" refused to broadcast Shusterєі show. Program was urgently broadcast at "112 Ukraina"
The TV channel «1+1» decided to postpone broadcasting of the political talk show «Shuster live». On September 18, the program was not aired as planned. Instead, at 8.15 p.m., the channel broadcast a mini-series «Winter Waltz». The 1+1 Channel’s press service informed "Telekrytyka" about it. The topic of the talk show in question was "Corruption in Rada: money over all? Tariffs they choose: who can afford?". As the channel’s press service informed, they considered the situation in the country "too tense", and the channel was not prepared to be responsible for pressing it further. They planned to broadcast the show in a week "when politicians calm down". Oleh Liashko, member of the Ukrainian Parliament, accused the country's President Petro Poroshenko of banning the airing of the program. In 15 minutes after the start, the program was transferred to the TV channel "112 Ukraina", and was broadcast on it. Other guests did not believe in the President's influence on a private TV channel – some called the situation "strange coincidence" and asked the public to wait until the actual reason for it was clarified.
