19.02.2018, 14:44
On February 15 in Kyiv, journalist of channel 24 Lesia Vyhovska was injured during the fight at the session of Solomyanskyi district court where the restriction measure was selected for the mayor of Odesa Hennadiy Trukhanov, and unidentified men beat the activist of “Automaidan” of Odesa, Vitaliy Ustymenko. This was reported by “Detector media”, with a reference to the TV channel. The court allowed the mayor to get bailed out by the MP from Petro Poroshenko Bloc, Dmytro Holubov. The specialized anti-corruption prosecutor's office requested arrest of the mayor, with an alternative of bail-out for 50 million hryvnias. During the meeting near Solomyanskyi court in Kyiv, clashes and detentions took place, and one of the police officers was injured by a gun bullet. After the court announced the resolution, about 20 young men wearing masks and black clothes came into the room and dragged Vitaliy Ustymenko, activists of local "Automaidan", to the corridor, where they started beating him. At that, these men were obstructing the journalists who were recording their actions. The TV channel 24 reported that one of the victims was their journalist, Lesia Vyhovska, who was punched in the face by one of the man. They specifically targeted her for being a journalist.
