Russian shelling damages the Odesa office of the VRU Commissioner for human rights

01.05.2024, 14:28

The Russian shelling strikes on Odesa damaged the office of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, reported Commissioner Dmytro Lubinets.

According to him, there were no employees or visitors at the office at the time of the strike.

The office's staff are working to alleviate the impact of the shelling and resume work.

The office is currently available by phone: +38 097 346 08 28.

"This is the fourth representative office that has been destroyed by the Russians. Before that, this happened in Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, and Kherson. Russia's aggression continues to target the civilian population, so the world should help us in our fight against our cynical enemy," Lubinets said.

The Russian missile strike on Odesa on April 29 killed Borys Vasyliev, vice-rector for education and innovation development and economic activity of the International Humanitarian University.
